Special Events

We will be holding our  Congregational Seder this year on Monday, March 29th at 6:30 p.m. at the Temple. The meal will be catered by Harding Catering and will be very tasty! The cost will be $35.00 for adults and $15.00 for children under 10.  Guests are welcome, as long as they are paid for in advance.

This year, we would like to invite members to sponsor a student  for the Seder (i.e. pay for their meal since they’re pretty poor J), as we have eight college students who would like to attend. If you are able to sponsor a student, please let Nelle know.

Seder Reservations and payment are required no later than Monday, March 15th, and should be sent to:

Welcome to Congregation B'nai Israel. We are a small
congregation with a long history. We are affiliated with
The Union for Reform Judaism. However,
like many small congregations, our members come from a
variety of backgrounds and we strive to make everyone
feel at home. We hope that you will find in us your
Jewish home and join our congregation. We serve the
Golden Triangle of Mississippi--Starkville, Aberdeen,
West Point, and Columbus--as well as Western Alabama.
Let us know what your Jewish family can do to help you feel more at home.
